Volkl Catapult 3 FIRE Tennis Racquet

Volkl Catapult 3 FIRE Tennis Racquet
The new Catapult 3 enters the Volkl racquet line at 110 in2; with a strung weight of 9.9 oz. Volkl has now taken Catapult technology of the Catapult 3 to the next level. The new Catapult 3 features an oval head shape, as well as new frame geometry for increased power and stability. To maximize the overall performance of this new design, Volkl has introduced a third Catapult spring located at the 12 o’clock position. This third spring works with the springs at the 3 & 9 o’clock positions to expand the sweet spot in the top third region of the racquet head. The result is an increase in the comfort zone where this target market most often hits the ball. The 3 & 9 o’clock springs have a new geometrical design in the shape of an hourglass (18mm-15mm-18mm), which produce more control at the ends of the spring, and more power in the middle of the spring. The spring at the 12 o’clock position has a constant width (20mm), which contributes to the enlarged sweet spot generated by the three-spring design. Overall, the new Catapult 3 offers maximum power, and an optimal Catapult sweet spot for ultimate comfort. Ideal for 3.0 to 6.0 players Head Size: 110 sq. in. Length: 27.75 in. Strung Weight: 9.9 oz. Cross Section: 27 mm. String Pattern: 16 x 19 Balance: 0.5 in. HL Handle System: Vibration Control Grip: Cushtac
