The goal of Viking Cues is to enhance the playing experience, and the Viking VX14 pool stick certainly fits the bill. Improved structural integrity, straightness and playability are brought to you through proprietary methods of manufacturing. The proprietary ferrule material and pro taper shaft gives superb cue ball control and shot accuracy, while the stainless steel joint provides a stiff hit. The cue is coated with a UV polyurethane finish to keep the stained Birdseye Maple and inlays of ivory and black colored plastic points and diamond shapes from fading. Balabushka style rings and a black Irish linen wrap with white specks complete the look. In business since 1965, Viking is the oldest manufacture of cue sticks made in the USA. With the exception of the tips, weight bolts and bumpers, Viking manufactures all of the materials used to make their cues.
